Legzira Beach
Dramatic red rock arches rising from the Atlantic — one of Africa's most beautiful beaches.
Legzira beach, between Sidi Ifni and Mirleft, is famous for its immense natural sandstone arches; sunset through the main arch is one of Morocco’s iconic coastal sights. (One of the two great arches collapsed in 2016, so see the survivor while planning respectfully.) The beach suits wild coastal walks and solitude rather than swimming — currents are strong. Combine with Sidi Ifni and Mirleft for a far-south Atlantic loop few tourists attempt.
