Agadir is Morocco’s purpose-built beach resort — rebuilt after the 1960 earthquake with wide Atlantic beaches, a long promenade, and winter sun from November to March. Beyond the beach: the Kasbah Oufella at sunset, the Souk El Had, the Souss-Massa lagoon, and day trips to Paradise Valley or Taghazout. Travellers combining beach time with desert tours can fly or drive to Marrakech and join a Sahara itinerary from there.
