• Wat is de beste tijd om Marokko te bezoeken?

  De lente (maart–mei) en de herfst (september–november) bieden de meest aangename temperaturen. Voor de Sahara is oktober tot april ideaal — minder extreme hitte. De kustgebieden zijn het hele jaar door aangenaam.

• Heb ik een visum nodig om Marokko binnen te komen?

  Burgers van de VS, Canada, het VK, Australië, de EU en de meeste westerse landen hebben geen visum nodig voor verblijven tot 90 dagen. Zorg ervoor dat uw paspoort bij aankomst nog minstens 6 maanden geldig is.

• Is Marokko veilig om te reizen?

  Marokko is een van de veiligste bestemmingen in Afrika en de Arabische wereld. Onze lokale gidsen zorgen ervoor dat u de souks en woestijnroutes in alle vertrouwen en met volledige gemoedsrust verkent.

• Wat moet ik meenemen voor een woestijntour?

  Lichte lagen (overdag is de woestijn heet, ’s nachts koud), een sjaal tegen wind en zon, goede zonnebrandcrème, een zonnebril, een zaklamp, comfortabele wandelschoenen en een powerbank. Wij voorzien slaapzakken voor de desert camps.

• Zijn jullie tours privé of in groep?

  Wij specialiseren ons in privé, op maat gemaakte tours die volledig zijn afgestemd op uw planning en voorkeuren. Daarnaast bieden wij ook kleinschalige luxe groepsreizen op geselecteerde data. Alles is bespreekbaar.

• Welke talen spreken jullie gidsen?

  Onze professionele gidsen spreken Engels, Frans, Spaans, Arabisch, Berbers, Italiaans en Portugees. Geef uw voorkeurstaal door bij het boeken.

• Hoe kan ik betalen?

  Wij accepteren bankoverschrijving, PayPal en contant geld (MAD/EUR/USD). Een aanbetaling van 20% bevestigt uw reservering; het resterende bedrag betaalt u bij aankomst. Stuur ons een WhatsApp voor een persoonlijke offerte.

• Kunnen jullie rekening houden met dieetwensen?

  Absoluut — vegetarische, veganistische, glutenvrije, halal- en allergievriendelijke menu’s worden allemaal verzorgd. Laat het ons weten bij uw boeking.

• What is included in your desert tours?

  All our desert tours include private air-conditioned transportation, an English-speaking driver, luxury accommodation, daily breakfast and dinner, camel trekking in Erg Chebbi, one night in a luxury desert camp, and hotel pickup/drop-off. International flights, lunches, and optional activities are typically excluded.

• What should travelers bring to the Sahara desert camp?

  Bring warm layers for cold desert nights, a scarf, sunscreen, sunglasses, a torch/flashlight, comfortable shoes, and a power bank. We provide sleeping bags for the desert camp. Swimwear is useful for some luxury camps with pools.

• How do I get to Merzouga and the Sahara Desert?

  The drive from Marrakech to Merzouga takes about 9–10 hours via the High Atlas Mountains. From Fes, it is roughly 7–8 hours. We arrange private transfers with comfortable stops. Flying into Marrakech or Fes is most common.

• Is camel trekking suitable for beginners?

  Yes — our camel treks are gentle and suitable for all abilities. The camels are well-trained and the treks are typically 1–2 hours at sunset. For those who prefer not to ride, 4x4 transfers to the camp can be arranged.

• What are the desert camps like?

  Our luxury desert camps feature real beds, en-suite bathrooms, and elegant Berber-style tents under the stars. Dinner is served around a campfire with live Berber music. It is a comfortable, authentic, and unforgettable experience.

• Can you arrange a trip during Ramadan?

  Yes — Morocco during Ramadan is a special cultural experience. Some restaurants may be closed during the day, but our guides navigate this gracefully. Evening feasts and vibrant night markets make it a unique time to visit.

• What is the cancellation policy?

  Free cancellation up to 7 days before your tour for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days may incur a 50% charge. No-shows are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance for complete peace of mind.

• Do I need travel insurance?

  Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all Morocco trips. It should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and lost luggage. We can help advise on suitable policies if needed.

• Are the tours suitable for children and older travelers?

  Absolutely. Our private tours are fully adaptable for families and older guests. The pace is flexible, camel treks are optional, and 4x4 transfers can replace walking sections. We have experience with all ages.

• How far in advance should I book?

  For peak seasons (March–May and September–November), we recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance. For winter desert trips or special dates, 2–3 months ahead is ideal. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible — just ask.

• What type of vehicles do you use?

  We use modern, air-conditioned vehicles ranging from sedans for 2–4 guests to spacious minivans for larger groups. All vehicles are well-maintained and driven by professional, licensed drivers.

• Do you provide airport pickup and drop-off?

  Yes — all our tours include complimentary airport or hotel pickup and drop-off in Marrakech, Fes, and other major cities. Your driver will meet you with a named sign and assist with luggage.
