Essaouira

Door de wind geteisterde parel aan zee — blauwe boten, verse zeevruchten en Gnawa-muziek.

Essaouira is de meest sfeervolle havenstad van Marokko. De door UNESCO beschermde medina, geteisterd door de Atlantische passaatwinden, is een doolhof van witte en blauwe gebouwen. Het beroemde Gnawa World Music Festival vult de straten elke juni met ritme. Het strand is van wereldklasse voor kitesurfen.
